EVT, operating Atura Adelaide, is seeking a Food and Beverage Attendant to deliver hospitable, high-quality service across dining and bar areas. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare drinks, serve meals, and upsell menu items while ensuring safety and presentation standards.

The role requires RSA certification, flexibility across AM/PM shifts, and the ability to stand for long periods. You’ll work as part of a friendly team in a fast-paced hotel environment, delivering memorable guest

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience, including bar work.
• Current RSA certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
• Available for AM and PM shifts.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift items as required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing needs.

Responsabilités

• Greet, seat and welcome guests with genuine hospitality
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, including special requests and dietary needs
• Prepare and serve drinks from the bar, including coffee, cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic options, to presentation standards
• Serve food and beverages promptly and to presentation standards
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve any concerns
• Maintain clean, organised service and bar areas, including clearing and resetting tables
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar team to ensure timely and accurate service
• Process payments and handle transactions accurately
• Promote and upsell menu items, specials and beverages
• Respond to guest requests and provide helpful, attentive service
• Serve alcohol responsibly and follow all safety, hygiene and health regulations
• Work flexibly across AM and PM shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays

What you'll bring

• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate, or willingness to obtain one
• Flexibility to work both AM and PM shifts, including early starts
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift items as required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing needs
