Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton, Perth is seeking a Guest Arrival Captain to warmly welcome guests and guide them to their rooms, ensuring a smooth start to their stay. You will manage arrival flow and parking logistics with a commitment to exceptional service.

This full-time, on-site role supports a luxury guest experience, upholding service standards and proactive assistance for every guest during their arrival and early interactions.

Qualifications

• RSA certification from a nationally accredited provider.
• Food Safety Certification.
• Experience in a customer service role.
• Unrestricted working rights for Australia.

Responsibilities

• Greet and warmly welcome guests/visitors as the first hotel contact.
• Escort guests to rooms and assist with entering/leaving property.
• Open doors and assist guests entering and leaving the property.
• Inform guests of amenities, services, hours and local areas of interest.
• Identify and explain room features to guests.
• Oversee and control all movement on the Hotel Driveway.
• Delegate parking and luggage assistance to the porter/valet team.
• Provide guests with directions and arrange transportation as needed.
• Record advance transportation requests and communicate parking procedures.

About The Role

Duties

• As the first hotel contact provide a warm welcome to all guests/visitors
• Greet and escort guests to rooms.
• Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property.
• Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
• Identify and explain room features to guests.
• Oversee and control all movement on the Hotel Driveway
• Delegate parking and luggage assistance to the porter/valet team
  
• Supply guests with directions.
• Arrange transportation for guests/visitors, and record advance transportation request as needed.
• Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.

Skills & Experience

• Responsible Service of Alcohol from Nationally Accredited Training provider (RSA)
• I’m Alert Food Safety Certification (from City of Perth)
• Experience working in customer service role preferable
• Passion for customer service
• Unrestricted working rights for Australia
