Job summary

Likewize in Melbourne is seeking a detail-oriented Category Manager to drive category growth, profitability and customer value by developing strategies that align with business objectives. You will partner with Sales, Product Managers and Marketing to optimise ranges, pricing and performance.

You will own category outcomes, leverage data-driven insights to deliver revenue targets and lead Assistant Category Managers to execute plans across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in retail, telecommunications, consumer electronics, technology, FMCG or eCommerce environments.
• Strong commercial acumen balancing customer needs, inventory investment and profitability.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret sales, profitability and market data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver category strategies that drive growth, profitability and customer value.
• Partner with Sales teams to identify customer needs, market opportunities and channel priorities.
• Optimise product ranges, pricing and lifecycle management to maximise category performance.
• Lead new product launches and support cross-functional execution.
• Analyse category and market data to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain and Product teams to improve forecasting and product availability.
• Build stakeholder relationships and drive continuous improvement across category processes.
