Job summary

InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort is seeking a Groups Reservations Agent to manage and coordinate the resort's group bookings, guiding them from confirmation to guest arrival and supporting high-value opportunities.

You will work closely with Sales, Conference & Events, Revenue and Front Office to ensure accurate room blocks, timely updates and exceptional guest experiences while driving occupancy and revenue.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel Reservations environment, with Group Reservations preferred.
• Experience managing high-volume accommodation bookings and multiple stakeholder relationships.
• Knowledge of Group, FIT and Inbound Reservations or ability to develop expertise.
• Experience using Opera PMS, Holidex or similar hotel reservation systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication, with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage Group Reservations from initial booking through to arrival, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Coordinate high-value and high-volume group bookings, including rooming lists and amendments.
• Ensure group reservations follow contracted rates, cut-off dates and cancellation policies.
• Monitor pickup against contracted blocks and deadlines to support revenue objectives.
• Communicate requirements with Sales, Revenue and Front Office to ensure smooth operations.
• Process reservations, amendments and cancellations within Opera and related systems.
