TAPS is a leading South Australian group training organisation focused on shaping apprenticeships across the construction sector. The Field Consultant role centers on relationship management with apprentices and host employers, plus recruiting and onboarding new entrants.

You'll spend significant time in the field, developing opportunities, resolving issues and contributing to positive employment outcomes for the communities we serve.

Qualifications

• Builds strong relationships with apprentices and host employers.
• Excels in communication and interpersonal interaction.
• Has a current driver's licence and safety awareness.

• Experience in recruitment or employment services is a plus.

• Promote and monitor safe work practices.
• Liaise with training organisations and key stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and meet compliance requirements.

About the Role

As a Field Consultant, you'll be the face of TAPS for many of our apprentices, and host employers.

You'll build strong relationships across industry, support apprentices throughout their employment journey and work closely with employers to create and maintain quality apprenticeship opportunities.

This role combines relationship management, business development and workforce development. You'll spend much of your time in the field meeting with employers and apprentices, identifying opportunities, resolving issues and helping achieve successful outcomes for everyone involved.

You'll also play an important role in recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new apprentices and trainees, helping match people with meaningful career opportunities.
