Escape Hunt Gold Coast is a themed escape room venue in Southport, offering immersive group experiences for corporates, birthdays, hens & bucks parties, and social groups. We're looking to grow our group bookings business and want someone with the local network and sales drive to help us do it.
This is a flexible, part-time role ideal for someone who already has a network in corporate events, wedding/hens & bucks planning, or local Gold Coast hospitality — you'll earn a base plus commission for the bookings you bring in, with the flexibility to build your own schedule around client meetings and site visits.
The Group Bookings & Business Development role is responsible for driving new corporate, party, and group bookings for the venue. Day-to-day activities include reaching out to local businesses, HR/office managers, and wedding/events planners; building referral partnerships; responding to inbound inquiries and converting them into confirmed bookings; and representing Escape Hunt Gold Coast at local networking events. You'll work closely with the venue team to ensure bookings run smoothly, but the core focus of this role is growing the pipeline of group bookings — not day-to-day venue operations.
This role starts with a 2-week paid trial at $300 flat, regardless of outcome, so there's no risk starting out:
