Job summary

Novotel Hotels in Melbourne seeks a Group Reservations Lead to coordinate day-to-day operations for group bookings and ensure a seamless guest experience. You will manage accommodation-only groups of 10 rooms or more from enquiry to arrival, preparing quotations, contracts, rooming lists and movement information, while building strong relationships with clients and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day coordination of the Group Reservations function, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and guests.
• Manage accommodation-only group bookings of 10 rooms or more, from enquiry through to arrival.
• Prepare group quotations, contracts, rooming lists, payments and group movement information.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, PCOs, travel partners and internal stakeholders.
• Support, coach and develop team members through ongoing training, guidance and performance feedback.
• Assist the Portfolio Reservations Manager with daily tasks and team supervision.
• Handle escalated guest and client enquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Monitor group inventory, forecasting and business trends to maximise hotel performance.
• Produce group reservation reports, forecasts and analysis to support business decisions.
• Work closely with Sales, Revenue, Front Office and other departments to ensure exceptional group delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and team efficiency.
