Job summary

JDA Collective in Sydney’s southern suburbs is seeking a Group Marketing Specialist to drive marketing campaigns across multiple venues. You will craft digital and printed media, coordinate events, manage campaigns from concept to execution, and ensure branding consistency across NSW, QLD and VIC.

The role is on-site with a flexible schedule, offering staff discounts, onsite parking, and opportunities to travel as part of venue promotions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Grow and expand JDA Collective marketing presence in NSW, QLD and VIC across platforms, publications, sponsorships and venue memberships.
• Develop detailed design briefs and promotional artwork adhering to branding guidelines.
• Prepare, amend, lodge and approve promotional artwork with printing vendors/suppliers.
• Support Group Marketing Manager in organising promotional events and campaigns from concept to execution.
• Create, design, copy and manage digital and printed media.
• Provide input for updating regular publications and ensure consistent venue promotion.
• Plan and manage marketing budgets and activity timelines.
• Coordinate with suppliers and venues to ensure promotions run smoothly.

About the role

As the Group Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for the preparation, co-ordination and execution of day to day marketing activities within the JDA Collective venues, working primarily on site at the various hotel establishments, however, utilising JDA Collective Head Office as a base, working alongside a small, energetic and vibrant Marketing team. The role will involve:

Grow and expand JDA Collective marketing presence in NSW, QLD and VIC through a variety of platforms, publications, sponsorships, printed marketing material, venue memberships etc.

Develop detailed design briefs and specific promotional artwork, whilst adhering to the company “branding guidelines”.

Preparing, amending, lodgement and approval of promotional artwork with various printing vendors/suppliers.

Support to the Group Marketing Manager in organising promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success. This includes full life cycle of a marketing / promo rollout, providing thorough details on the background of the promotion, purpose of promotion, target audience, the rollout of the promotion into the venue through to the point of promotion execution.

Create, design, copy and manage digital and printed media.

Provide input and assist with the updating of regular publications.

Effectively market each venue promotion/event with a consistent approach and in line with the JDA Collective standard guidelines.

Proactively prioritise and organise your marketing workload, ensuring deadlines are met.

Create marketing campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content production and implementation schedules.

Develop and maintain various marketing databases.

Adhering to marketing budgets and working within the parameters set.

Conduct marketing promotions awareness sessions at staff meetings.

Ensure promotional material displays are current and maintained at the venues.

Engaging with aligned suppliers on upcoming promotional activities and ensure co-ordination of such events with each venue and its staff.

Providing guidance and input into marketing best practices and strategies.

Research and monitor activity of other hospitality competitors.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will have the following:

Must have minimum two (2) plus years in hotel/pub (hospitality) marketing essential.

Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment and be able to show initiative.

Strong marketing and negotiation skills and have excellent customer oriented focus, over the phone and in person, with our suppliers, our patrons and internal departments at all levels.

Must be able to maintain professionalism and a customer-oriented attitude at all times.

This is a Monday to Friday role, however, during peak periods, promotional or yearly calendar events, you will be required to assist outside of normal business hours.

Must have own car and Drivers Licence.
