Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership is partnering with a national business to appoint its next Group Management Accountant on a permanent basis. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will consolidate group accounts, lead month-end close, and provide commercial insight to senior leadership across multiple sites.

Based on the north Gold Coast, with some flexibility, you will lead the AP/AR teams, oversee budgeting and forecasting cycles, and drive reporting improvements while shaping processes and controls.

Qualifications

• CPA qualified with a degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 5+ years in management accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting within a large corporate or multi-site organisation.
• Demonstrated consolidated and statutory financials experience.
• Advanced Excel with confidence in financial systems and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close, general ledger reconciliations and monthly financial statements.
• Lead group consolidation and prepare board reporting packs.
• Deliver actual vs budget analysis with insight on variances and trends.
• Lead the annual budget and business planning cycle, and coordinate regular forecasts.
• Evaluate projects and investments, and partner with senior leaders on commercial decisions.
• Directly lead, coach and develop the AP and AR teams, with backup payroll support when needed.
• Drive improvements to reporting, systems and financial controls.

Charterhouse Partnership is partnering with a national business with multiple operating sites to find its next Group Management Accountant. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll turn the numbers into commercial insight and lead the teams behind the finance operation.

The role:

manage month-end close, general ledger reconciliations and monthly financial statements. Lead group consolidation and prepare board reporting packs. Deliver actual vs budget analysis with insight on variances and trends. Lead the annual budget and business planning cycle, and coordinate regular forecasts. About you:
