Charterhouse Partnership is partnering with a national business to recruit a Group Management Accountant on a permanent basis. Reporting to the CFO, you will transform numbers into commercial insight and lead the finance teams across sites.

The role covers month-end close, consolidation, board packs, budget cycles and regular forecasting. You will coach AP/AR teams and drive reporting improvements.

Qualifications

• CPA qualified with a degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years in management accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience with consolidated and statutory financials.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI proficiency.

Responsibilities

Group Management Accountant | Permanent | $140K + Super

Charterhouse Partnership is partnering with a national business with multiple operating sites to find its next Group Management Accountant. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll turn the numbers into commercial insight and lead the teams behind the finance operation.

The role:

manage month-end close, general ledger reconciliations and monthly financial statements. Lead group consolidation and prepare board reporting packs. Deliver actual vs budget analysis with insight on variances and trends. Lead the annual budget and business planning cycle, and coordinate regular forecasts. Evaluate projects and investments, and partner with senior leaders on commercial decisions. Directly lead, coach and develop the AP and AR teams, with backup payroll support when needed. Drive improvements to reporting, systems and financial controls.

About you:

CPA qualified, with a degree in accounting, finance or a related field. 5+ years in management accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting within a large corporate or multi-site organisation. Demonstrated consolidated and statutory financials experience. Advanced Excel, with confidence in financial systems and Power BI. A commercial mindset and the communication skills to turn financial information into practical recommendations.
