Zenergy Group is seeking a senior safety leader to set the group’s health and safety direction across multiple sites in Australia and New Zealand. You will lead a central safety team, coach site leaders, and drive safety performance through policies and management systems.

You will partner with senior executives to assure compliance, lead assurance programs, and advise on material risks and due diligence. This role offers high visibility and strategic impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in senior safety leadership across multi-site operations.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, construction or similar high-risk settings.
• Proven track record building safety management systems and leading audit, assurance and compliance programs.
• Ability to influence executives and lead geographically dispersed teams.
• Qualification in WHS, risk, business or related discipline.

Organisation

Zenergy is partnering with a diversified group operating across multiple sites in Australia and New Zealand. Its businesses operate in industrial and other higher-risk environments, each with its own operational leadership and resources.

Position

Reporting to senior leadership, you will set the group’s health and safety direction and establish consistent standards across its businesses. You will lead a central safety team, guide safety specialists across the group and coach operational leaders who are accountable for safety performance at their sites. Develop the group safety strategy and maintain its policies, standards and management systems. Lead assurance and critical control programs. Advise senior leaders on material risks, significant incidents and officer due diligence.

Requirements

• At least 10 years’ experience in senior safety leadership, including in complex, multi-site organisations with matrix reporting structures.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, construction or similarly high-risk operations.
• A track record of building safety management systems and leading audit, assurance and compliance programs.
• Ability to influence executives and operational leaders and lead geographically dispersed teams.
• Qualification in WHS, risk, business or a related discipline.
