Sharp & Carter in Victoria, Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead the monthly close and own the balance sheet. This is a growth-focused role ideal for someone transitioning from audit into industry.

You’ll work closely with the FC and FP&A, review complex journals, manage reconciliations and provide insightful analysis to enable strong business decisions. CA/CPA designation is required.

Qualifikationen

• CA or CPA qualified with around 5 years of experience.
• Big 4 or mid-tier audit/assurance background.
• Strong knowledge of AASB and IFRS standards.
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience.

You’ll run the close from start to finish, take ownership of material journals and the balance sheet, and be the person the auditors deal with, this time from the other side of the table.

It’s a broad role with inventory, fixed assets, provisions and intercompany all in play. You’ll work closely with the FC and FP&A, so your analysis feeds into real business decisions. For someone making their first move into industry, it’s a strong platform with clear room to grow.
