We recently expanded into a new, state-of-the-art facility in Pinjarra and continue to invest in automation and innovation.

We are now seeking a Group Finance Manager to lead financial operations across the ABBA Group, ensuring robust reporting, compliance, and insightful financial guidance to drive business performance and growth.

The Opportunity

As Group Finance Manager, you will be a pivotal member of the leadership team, working closely with the CEO and General Manager to:

• Manage day‑to‑day finance operations across multiple entities under the Group
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
• Ensure compliance with statutory, taxation, and regulatory obligations
• Optimise financial systems and processes (Xero, Simpro, Employment Hero, Power BI)
• Mentor and develop the finance team to strengthen capability and performance

This role is ideal for a commercially minded, hands‑on finance professional who thrives on process improvement, systems integration, and strategic collaboration with operational leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, month‑end year‑end closings, and reconciliations across all entities.
• Ensure compliance with taxation, superannuation, BAS, PAYG, and statutory obligations.
• Prepare consolidated financial reports, dashboards, and management packs.
• Analyse cash flow, margins, job costing, and performance metrics to support business decisions.
• Coordinate annual budgets, forecasts, and cost centre planning; monitor variances and implement controls.
• Optimise financial systems and workflows (Xero, Simpro, Employment Hero, Power BI) to improve efficiency.
• Lead process improvement and digital transformation initiatives across finance functions.
• Manage financial risk, insurance compliance, and due diligence for investments or acquisitions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to build capability and ensure timely, accurate outputs.
• Partner with CEO/GM on strategic initiatives, providing insights, scenario modelling and decision support.

About You

You are a proactive, hands‑on finance professional with strong commercial acumen and a focus on operational excellence. You have the confidence to influence decision‑making at all levels while ensuring accurate and compliant financial operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• CPA/CA (mandatory)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
• 5–10 years’ experience in financial management or senior accounting roles, ideally within construction, engineering or manufacturing
• Tracked record of managing multi‑entity accounting, consolidation, and project‑based costing
• Advanced systems knowledge (Xero, Simpro, Employment Hero, Power BI or equivalent ERP)
