Job summary

Qantas is seeking a Manager, Group Cyber Defence to lead the strategy, governance and incident management for the Group's cyber security agenda. The role anchors risk assessment, policy implementation and cross‑functional collaboration across technology, vendors and business units.

The successful candidate will drive security governance, threat intelligence and control assurance while enabling cost efficient security outcomes for the Qantas Group. Melbourne or Sydney based.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in cyber security, information security or tech risk.

Responsibilities

• Shape 1–3 year Cyber Defence strategy for assigned controls.
• Build partnerships to strengthen cyber resilience and compliance.
• Govern Cyber Defence controls, risks, and performance.
• Provide thought leadership through industry benchmarking and trend analysis.
