Job summary

Boylan Group—an umbrella for hospitality, property, investments and operating businesses—seeks a dependable Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day finance across the group. This hands-on role reports to the Directors and works with external accountants to support annual statements, BAS and compliance.

The successful candidate will maintain payroll, payables, receivables and reconciliations, with growth into broader accounting and reporting activities as experience grows.

Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping or accounts experience
• Sound understanding of payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Confidence working with accounting software such as MYOB, QuickBooks or similar
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills
• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Responsibilities

• Processing payroll and maintaining employee records
• Managing accounts payable and supplier payments
• Raising invoices and administering accounts receivable
• Performing bank, credit card and account reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate financial and company records
• Assisting with BAS, superannuation and compliance activities
• Supporting month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Coordinating insurance renewals, licences and corporate administration requirements
• Liaising with external accountants and other professional advisers when required
• Providing general financial and administrative support to the Directors
