Job summary

Mandurah Baptist College is seeking a skilled Grounds Person to join our Grounds Team on a 0.6FTE, from 2027, based in Mandurah, WA. You will contribute to lawn care, gardening, pruning, weed control and upkeep of outdoor spaces to provide a safe, welcoming environment for students and staff.

Working under the Grounds Manager, you’ll perform general maintenance, operate tools, and support facilities maintenance as part of a team committed to the College’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Written confirmation of faith from your church pastor/minister
• Digital copies of relevant qualifications and tickets
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• National Police Certificate (NPC)
• Valid Australian work rights
• Willingness to uphold and live the Mission, Vision and Christian values of Mandurah Baptist College

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and diligent Groundsperson to join our Grounds Team on a part-time basis (0.6FTE) from 2027.

Working under the direction of the Grounds Manager, the Grounds Person will support the College’s grounds and facilities maintenance to provide a safe, clean and well-maintained outdoor environment for students, staff and visitors. Working as part of a team, the role is responsible for general grounds maintenance, including lawn care, gardening, pruning, weed control, maintaining outdoor areas and assisting with the upkeep of the College grounds and facilities.
