Job summary

Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria in Geelong is seeking a Justice Officer, Grounds and Services to keep prison grounds, deliveries and daily services running safely. You will plan your work, maintain grounds and move items across the prison, while supporting meals, laundry, stores and minor maintenance tasks.

This is an ongoing, full-time role with a salary of $62,104 to $79,753 per year plus super. Experience in maintenance or logistics is desirable, as is a forklift licence.

Qualifications

• Current Victorian driver’s licence is required.
• Experience in maintenance or logistics desirable.
• Forklift licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily work to ensure essential duties are completed on time.
• Maintain grounds including lawns, plants and walkways.
• Deliver items across the prison and keep to schedules.
• Load, unload and operate light delivery vehicles safely.
• Assist with meals, laundry, stores, property and minor maintenance tasks.
