Job summary

Sodexo in Australia is seeking a motivated Grounds Person to maintain gardens, lawns, pathways, and outdoor facilities across client sites, ensuring safety, functionality, and visual appeal.

You will operate ride-on mowers and landscaping equipment, perform mowing, edging, pruning, and weed control, and report issues while maintaining supplies. You’ll work safely under health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures, both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• White Card holder.
• Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture.
• Experience operating ride-on mowers and landscaping equipment.
• Strong safe-work practices and hazard awareness.
• Attention to detail with proactive high standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license (preferred).

• Reporting maintenance issues and safety hazards.
• Conducting routine inspections of fences, access roads, and outdoor assets.
• Working safely while following all health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
