Job summary

Programmed Property Services is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join our Geelong team. You will lead a hands-on horticultural crew, coordinating daily works and contractor activities across a diverse client portfolio.

The role offers a full-time permanent position with opportunities for career progression within a nationally recognised leader in grounds maintenance and related services.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance and horticulture.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance.
• Relevant horticultural qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong planning, organizational and time-management skills.
• Competent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental systems.
• Current Driver's Licence (essential).
• Current Working with Children Check (essential).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team delivering horticultural and grounds maintenance services.
• Coordinate daily work schedules and site activities.
• Undertake a range of gardening and landscape maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and audit the quality of works completed by employees and contractors.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to client expectations.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Promote and maintain safe work practices across all sites.
• Complete site documentation, reporting and administrative requirements.
• Support the Project Manager in the planning and delivery of maintenance programs.
