Job summary

Recruitment Select is seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to lead a small crew across Melbourne's Northern Suburbs. This hands-on leadership role combines day-to-day maintenance with staff management, planning and ensuring contractual service standards are met.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will coordinate activities on government sites, conduct quality inspections, mentor team members, manage workloads and equipment, and maintain accurate records using dedicated

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping or vegetation management.
• Proven ability to lead or supervise a team in field operations.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with safety focus.
• Able to work autonomously, prioritise workloads and meet client needs.
• Current Driver's Licence and White Card required; industry certificates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a grounds maintenance team across sites.
• Plan and execute scheduled maintenance works and inspections.
• Ensure contractual obligations and service standards are met.
• Maintain records of completed work and use scheduling software.
• Promote safe work practices and mentor team members.
• Manage daily workloads, resources, and equipment; liaise with clients.
