Solutions+ is seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee sports field and garden maintenance at a private school in Crestmead. You will lead hands-on alongside your crew, maintaining high standards and taking ownership of day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Driver's licence required (manual or automatic).
• Experience in grounds maintenance, horticulture or sports turf.
• Confidence operating ride-on and zero-turn mowers and related equipment.
• Ability to organise daily work and lead a team to high standards.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and SWMS/Take 5s.
• National Police Check required.
• Working With Children Check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering high-quality commercial landscape maintenance.
• Work hands-on with mowing, edging, pruning and garden maintenance.
• Operate ride-on and specialised grounds equipment.
• Use power tools to maintain gardens and green spaces.
• Complete hedging, trimming, weeding and mulching tasks.
• Allocate tasks and support the team to complete work efficiently.
• Conduct site safety tasks and quality checks.
• Communicate with clients on-site and represent Solutions+ professionally.
• Lead by example to maintain a safe, productive on-site environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering high-quality commercial landscape maintenance
• Work hands-on alongside the team, completing daily mowing, edging, pruning and garden maintenance.
• Operate zero-turn mowers, ride-on machinery and specialised grounds equipment.
• Use a range of handheld power tools and machinery to maintain gardens, lawns and green spaces.
• Complete hedging, trimming, blowing, weeding, mulching and general horticultural works.
• Allocate daily tasks, support the team and ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Complete pre-starts, SWMS, Take 5s and other required site safety and reporting tasks.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks, rectifying maintenance issues as required.
• Communicate with clients on-site and represent Solutions+ professionally at commercial properties.
• Lead by example on-site, maintaining a safe workplace while delivering quality work alongside your team.

What will you need?

• A current driver's licence, manual or automatic.
• Experience in grounds maintenance, horticulture or Sports Turf
• Confidence operating ride-on mowers, zero-turn mowers and relevant grounds maintenance equipment.
• The ability to organise daily work, support a team and maintain high-quality standards.
• Practical, hands-on approach and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
• A National Police Check
