Job summary

Service Stream is hiring multiple Grounds Maintenance Operators to support a new Australian Defence contract. Based in Edinburgh, SA, these permanent full-time roles involve maintaining outdoor spaces, operating landscaping equipment, and assisting tradespeople and site teams.

You will contribute to turf care, irrigation management, and garden design while adhering to OH&S practices and on-site communication protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate mowers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment.
• Knowledge of turf care, irrigation and pruning.
• Capable of lifting, digging, bending, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Familiarity with OH&S procedures and PPE.
• Ability to follow instructions, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively on-site.
• Punctual, dependable, and able to complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Relevant licences, white card and first aid requirements are highly regarded.
• Must have valid FULL driver's licence.

About the role

The Grounds maintenance operator maintains and enhances outdoor green spaces by sowing, planting, and cultivating a variety of plants, trees, and shrubs. Their responsibilities include pruning, mowing, managing irrigation systems, applying fertilisers and pesticides, and ensuring the overall health and aesthetic of the landscape.

• MUST have valid FULL driver's licence.

You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
