Oran Park Anglican College is seeking a General Hand - Grounds & Maintenance on a permanent, part-time basis (0.8 FTE / 4 days per week) starting January 2027. The role supports the Property Manager with grounds care, building upkeep, venue set-ups, and goods handling within a vibrant school environment.

Key responsibilities include maintaining gardens, assisting with basic maintenance, and contributing to safe, efficient operations across campus.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds keeping and/or basic building maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Committed Christian and active member of a church.
• Current MR Licence and relevant safety certificates.
• Pesticide and Handling Certificate required or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Maintain gardens and grounds; trim foliage and lawns.
• Handle, store and distribute goods and materials.
• Set up venues and move equipment as required.
• Assist with basic building maintenance.
• Keep grounds tidy and manage waste properly.
• Work safely and with care for others' safety.
• Collaborate with staff to uphold College values.
• Assist with driving the College bus when needed.
