Job summary

NRMA Parks & Resorts is hiring for a Grounds & Maintenance all-rounder at Blue Dolphin Resort, Yamba, NSW. This casual role supports pools, grounds and facilities, with flexible hours to suit lifestyle.

You’ll mow, prune, weed, and landscape, perform basic repairs, assist with pool care and guest-ready public areas, and pitch in on painting projects. Experience in grounds work is preferred and you’ll join a supportive, energetic team.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

As a Grounds & Maintenance all-rounder, you will assist with the following:

• Keep our resort grounds immaculate, mowing, weeding, pruning, and landscaping like a pro.
• Lend a hand with minor repairs across cabins, campsites, amenities, and facilities.
• Dive into pool care, cleaning, dosing, water balancing, and basic repairs.
• Maintain and clean public areas, ensuring everything's guest-ready.
• Pitch in on grounds-based projects, basic mechanical repairs, and a splash of painting.
• Deliver friendly, incidental customer service, because a helping hand goes a long way!

What you'll bring

• Experience in grounds and basic maintenance work (trade qualification not required—we love a true all-rounder!).
• Skills with ride-on and push mowers, pruning, hedging, landscaping, and weed control.
• Knowledge of safe working procedures and basic hygiene requirements.
• Ability to work unsupervised and a hands-on, can-do attitude.
• Hardworking, energetic, and enthusiastic, with a good level of fitness (it's a physically demanding role!).
