Job summary

Hamilton Island Golf Club on Hamilton Island, Queensland, Australia, is seeking a dedicated Groundsperson to maintain greens, tees and surrounding areas. You will support the Golf Course Superintendent and help with daily course preparation, landscaping and groundskeeping tasks.

You will live on Hamilton Island and commute by ferry, enjoying island living, access to staff facilities and a close-knit team culture. Prior outdoor maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping or similar outdoor work.
• Holder of a Manual Driver Licence.
• Good communication and teamwork skills essential.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain course greens, fairways, tees and rough areas.
• Assist with irrigation and fertiliser application.
• Operate groundskeeping equipment and monitor equipment levels.
