Job summary

Solutions+ is seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Assistant to mow, edge and maintain lawns, ovals and open green spaces to a high standard across our sites in Sydney.

You will safely operate mowers, hedge pruning, weed control, irrigation checks and assist with seasonal planting, site improvements and basic repairs. A valid driver's licence, National Police Check and Working with Children Check are required.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge and maintain lawns, ovals and open green spaces to a high standard
• Weed, mulch and maintain garden beds, landscaped areas and surrounding grounds
• Prune shrubs, hedges and small trees to keep gardens neat and well presented
• Safely operate mowers, brush cutters, blowers, hand tools and other gardening equipment
• Assist with general grounds maintenance, seasonal planting and site improvement works
• Assist with fertilising and basic weed and pest control treatments as required
• Monitor turf, gardens and landscaped areas, reporting any issues or maintenance needs
• Carry out basic irrigation checks and assist with minor repairs and adjustments
