Job summary

Kmart Group in Melbourne is seeking a seasoned Cyber Governance, Risk and Compliance professional to lead AI and cyber risk initiatives across IT, OT and AI systems. You will assess risks, support audits and help modernise GRC processes.

You’ll partner with Technology, Cyber Security, Data and AI, Operations, Risk, Audit, Privacy, Legal and Procurement to deliver practical risk insights and robust controls in a rapidly evolving retail tech landscape.

Qualifications

Experience in technology risk, cyber security, GRC or IT audit.
Ability to translate complex risk requirements into practical actions.
Familiarity with AI governance concepts and related frameworks.

Responsibilities

Assess technology risks across IT, OT and AI systems, models and third-party solutions.
Maintain risk registers, treatment plans and KRIs; escalate issues beyond risk appetite.
Support audits, IT general controls testing and regulatory/compliance assessments.
Review and maintain cyber and AI policies, standards and evidence.
Design AI-enabled GRC workflows for evidence collection and monitoring.
Partner with Technology, Cyber Security, Data & AI, Operations, Risk, Audit, Privacy, Legal, Procurement and external providers.
Deliver data-driven risk reporting and practical guidance for stakeholders.
