Job summary

Quartex Software in Perth, Australia, seeks a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst to join its Security team. You’ll support the company’s security governance, risk and assurance programs across ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 42001, turning complex requirements into repeatable processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in information security, governance, risk, compliance, audit or technology assurance.
• Working knowledge of security controls, risk management and frameworks such as ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2.
• Strong written, analytical and documentation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to coordinate multiple priorities, evidence requests and stakeholders while keeping actions and deadlines on track.
• Experience with ISO 42001, AI governance, GRC platforms, internal control testing or SaaS environments would be highly regarded.

About the role

We are seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst to join our Security team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting Quartex’s security governance, risk and assurance programs across frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 42001.

You’ll help keep our control environment organised, evidence-backed and audit-ready, working closely with teams across Technology, Product, Engineering, Legal and the wider business. You’ll thrive if you enjoy bringing structure to complex requirements, working cross-functionally and turning compliance obligations into practical, repeatable processes.

As our newest GRC Analyst, you’ll:

• Coordinate and maintain compliance activities across ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 42001 and other assurance requirements.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who is organised, analytical and comfortable working across both technical and business teams. You’ll be able to follow complex requirements through to completion, challenge incomplete information constructively and build strong working relationships with the people responsible for operating our controls.

You’ll also bring:

• Experience in information security, governance, risk, compliance, audit or technology assurance.
• Working knowledge of security controls, risk management and frameworks such as ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2.
• Strong written, analytical and documentation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to coordinate multiple priorities, evidence requests and stakeholders while keeping actions and deadlines on track.
• Experience with ISO 42001, AI governance, GRC platforms, internal control testing or SaaS environments would be highly regarded.
• A relevant qualification or certification in information security, risk, compliance or a related field would be highly regarded, but is not essential
