Life Publishing Group in North Queensland is seeking a Graduate Graphic Designer to join our growing team. You’ll work across three weekly newspaper deadlines designing advertisements, laying out pages and collaborating with editorial, sales and design colleagues.

Life Publishing Group is looking for a talented and motivated Graduate Graphic Designer to join our growing team.

About the Role

Working across our publications, you’ll be responsible for:

• Designing advertisements across our newspaper mastheads
• Laying out newspaper pages and articles
• Working to multiple weekly production deadlines
• Collaborating closely with our editorial, sales and design teams
• Creating engaging, polished and effective visual content
• Developing your skills and taking on increasing responsibility
• Growing into opportunities to work across our magazine publications

You’ll be working across three weekly newspaper deadlines, so organisation, speed and attention to detail are essential. You’ll need to be someone who enjoys the momentum of a deadline-driven environment and can stay calm, focused and creative when things get busy.

We currently produce five mastheads across three weekly newspapers, as well as two magazines every eight weeks.
