Job summary

Bright Light Marketing in Mackay is seeking a hands-on Senior Graphic Designer to join our growing team. This full-time role covers branding, print, digital campaigns, social media, websites, signage, billboards and video, offering a diverse range of clients and projects.

You will lead design from concept to production, maintain brand guidelines, collaborate with printers and developers, and contribute to campaign concepts.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of professional graphic design experience.
• A degree or formal qualification in graphic design or related discipline.
• A sophisticated portfolio demonstrating print, brand and digital work.
• Advanced proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong capability across the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience designing brochures, editorial layouts, brand systems, presentations and campaign collateral.
• Experience creating branded assets for LinkedIn, Instagram, EDMs and digital advertising.
• Experience designing websites and digital layouts within Figma, Framer or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of print production, finished artwork and supplier coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.

Bright Light Marketing is looking for a talented and motivated Full-Time Senior Graphic Designer to join our growing team in Mackay.

This is a hands-on creative role working across a diverse range of clients, industries and projects. No two days are the same - with the opportunity to work on everything from branding and print advertising to digital campaigns, social media, websites, signage, billboards, video and marketing collateral.

Key responsibilities

• Designing premium marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, capability statements, project marketing material, billboards, newsletters and presentations
• Developing brand identities, visual systems and supporting brand collateral
• Creating branded digital assets for social media, digital advertising, EDMs and online campaigns
• Maintaining and applying brand guidelines consistently across multiple clients, projects and businesses
• Helping guide the visual direction of campaigns, communications and new business initiatives
• Designing signage, billboards and other physical brand applications
• Designing website concepts, landing pages and digital layouts using Figma
• Preparing finished artwork and managing print production requirements
• Liaising with printers, signage contractors, web developers and other creative suppliers
• Supporting photo, video and content shoots through shot planning, filming, art direction and asset selection

About you

• A minimum of three to five years of professional graphic design experience
• A degree or formal qualification in graphic design, visual communication or a related discipline
• A sophisticated portfolio demonstrating professionally produced print, brand and digital work
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong capability across the broader Adobe Creative Suite
• Demonstrated experience designing brochures, editorial layouts, brand systems, presentations and campaign collateral
• Experience creating branded assets for LinkedIn, Instagram, EDMs and digital advertising
• Experience designing websites and digital layouts within Figma, Framer or similar platforms
