Job summary

Hard Korr Pty Ltd is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our Stapylton, QLD office on a full-time basis. You will transform creative concepts into visually compelling materials that reinforce our market position and brand presence.

You will work across digital and print assets, packaging and promotional content, collaborating with the team to maintain brand guidelines and deliver high-quality artwork ready for production.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design or related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Portfolio showing diverse projects across mediums and industries.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and related design applications.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory and layout.
• Experience in both digital and print design with production knowledge.

As a Graphic Designer, you will be at the heart of our design operations, transforming creative concepts into visually compelling materials that resonate with our audience and reinforce our market position.

What you'll be doing

• Creating and developing original graphic designs for a diverse range of marketing materials, including digital assets, print collateral, packaging, and promotional content
• Collaborating with the team to understand design requirements and translate ideas into creative visual solutions
• Producing high-quality artwork ready for production, ensuring technical specifications are met for both digital and print applications
• Maintaining and evolving the company's visual identity and brand guidelines across all marketing communications
• Managing multiple design projects simultaneously whilst meeting established deadlines and quality standards
• Staying current with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging design software and technologies
• Participating in creative brainstorming sessions and providing design recommendations to enhance project outcomes
• Liaising with external vendors, printers, and photographers as needed to ensure successful project delivery

What we're looking for

• A diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating design expertise
• Proven experience working as a Graphic Designer, ideally with a portfolio showcasing a range of successful projects across different mediums and industries
• Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design applications
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, composition, and layout techniques
• Experience in both digital design and print design, with knowledge of production requirements, file formats, and printing processes
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain consistency and accuracy across all design work
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines without compromising quality
• Proficiency in creating responsive designs for various digital platforms and screen sizes is advantageous
• Experience with video editing, motion graphics, or web design would be highly valued but not essential
