Job summary

Autex is seeking a Graphic Designer for our Yatala site in Queensland. You will create and manage printing design projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client specifications while developing files for client approval and coordinating with the Sales Team to tailor designs.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Graphic Design, is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, and can communicate effectively across all levels of the company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare graphic plans and artwork, maintaining consistency with company branding guidelines.
• Enhance supplied artwork and incorporate client feedback to refine designs, ensuring the final graphics and layouts are on-brand.
• Assist the printer operators in producing samples and projects, to further enhance understanding of the Company’s print capabilities.
• Assist the Sales team across Autex Australia by accurately quantifying and costing jobs based on the architectural plans.
• Oversee the manufacturing process of successful quotes, ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.

Job description

Autex is a global leader supplying a diverse range of interior acoustic products for walls and ceilings to markets all over the world. We manufacture and dispatch these products across Australia from our Victorian operations. We are made up of experienced individuals who operate in a supportive and close network.

To cater for growth within our Queensland operations, we’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team, based at our Yatala site.

Your key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

Create and manage printing design projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client specifications

Develop files for client approval and collaborate with the Sales Team to tailor custom designs as per requirements

Prepare graphic plans and artwork, maintaining consistency with company branding guidelines

Enhance supplied artwork and incorporate client feedback to refine designs, ensuring the final graphics and layouts are accurate and on-brand

Assist the printer operators in producing samples and projects, to further enhance understanding of the Company’s print capabilities.

Assist the Sales team across Autex Australia by accurately quantifying and costing jobs based on the architectural plans

Oversee the manufacturing process of successful quotes, ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction. Close job cards in a timely fashion.

Efficiently handle Sales Team requests, process new business opportunities while delivering exemplary and seamless services

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

A Diploma in Graphic Design

A proficiency in Adobe Create Suite and Microsoft Office programs

Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with people at all levels of the Company

Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high quality and focus on the details.

Previous experience in the fields of architecture or industrial design is preferred but not essential.
