Job summary

Hudson is seeking a Systems Analyst for a 6-month contract with potential extensions up to two years to support critical grants platform systems for an Australian Government department. The role is Level 2 application support, requiring strong troubleshooting, incident management, and collaboration with business users, developers and technical specialists.

Experience with Microsoft Azure, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps and Application Insights is highly valued.

Qualifications

Experience in Level 2 application or systems support.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical/problem-solving skills.
Experience investigating and resolving complex incidents.
Understanding of incident and problem management.
Experience with Microsoft Azure.
Experience with ServiceNow or another ITSM platform.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues in plain English.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Application Insights, CRM platforms or government systems.

Responsibilities

Providing Level 2 support and resolving complex application incidents.
Investigating issues, performing root cause analysis and coordinating resolutions.
Working with business and technical stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
Monitoring system performance and identifying recurring issues.
Supporting system upgrades, enhancements and changes.
Developing and maintaining knowledge base articles and technical documentation.
Performing system administration and support activities across Microsoft Azure and other technical tools.
Using ServiceNow, Azure DevOps and Application Insights to manage and investigate incidents and issues.
Contributing to continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
