Job summary

Give Where You Live Foundation – Geelong VIC is seeking an organised Grants Coordinator to support the delivery of our community grant programs and broader social impact initiatives. This is an opportunity to join a respected, place-based community foundation, working with community organisations, funding partners and stakeholders to help build a fairer Geelong region.

You will manage end-to-end grant processes, build relationships with applicants and funded partners, and help ensure grant

Qualifications

  • Experience in grants administration or philanthropy.
  • Experience coordinating programs or projects through planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

The Give Where You Live Foundation is seeking an organised, relationship-focused and values-driven Grants Coordinator to support the delivery of our community grant programs and broader social impact initiatives. About the role

Reporting to the Head of Social Impact, the Grants Coordinator will coordinate the delivery of the Foundation’s grant programs.

You will support the end-to-end grant process, from applications, eligibility checks and assessment through to agreements, monitoring, acquittals and reporting. You will build strong relationships with applicants, funded partners and community organisations and help ensure our grant processes are simple, efficient, equitable, transparent and aligned with the Foundation’s strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinate the Foundation’s grant programs.
  • Coordinate grant applications, eligibility checks, assessments, due diligence, funding recommendations, agreements and acquittals.
  • Build strong and respectful relationships with applicants, funded partners and community organisations.
  • Monitor grant performance, expenditure, risks and outcomes.
  • Support funded partners to understand and meet reporting requirements and funding conditions.
  • Collect and maintain grant program data, feedback and impact stories.
  • Contribute to evaluation, impact reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Support Pitch Up and other social impact programs and initiatives as required.
You will bring
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience in grants administration, philanthropy, community programs or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating programs or projects through planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with community organisations and a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Confidence working with program data and information to support reporting and evaluation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant digital systems.
  • Experience using CRM systems, with Salesforce experience desirable.
  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach, with sound judgement and initiative.
