Job summary

GrainCorp in Donald is seeking a Site Manager to lead our grain storage and distribution site. You will supervise a small team of Grain Handlers and actively participate in day-to-day operations, ensuring safe, on-time, quality and cost-conscious performance.

You’ll partner with local growers, customers and the community while applying enterprise agreements and people processes. This role offers ongoing safety training and a collaborative, hands-on leadership environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and developing workgroups/individuals.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to meet operational demands.
• Capacity to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Current unrestricted driver licence and basic IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team to ensure commodities are received, stored and dispatched safely and on time within budget and quality standards.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities, coach and develop team members.
• Apply enterprise agreement and people processes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local growers, customers and the community.
• Coordinate maintenance and pest-control teams to deliver services.
• Identify and report maintenance requirements and uphold site standards and presentation.
• Champion safety and risk management within a zero-harm culture.
