Job summary

PB Seeds Pty Ltd in Kalkee, Western Victoria, is seeking a reliable Grain Processing Plant Operator for a full-time role. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the processing, cleaning and packaging of grains for domestic and international markets.

You will operate grain cleaning, processing and packaging equipment, handle loading and dispatch, monitor quality and safety procedures, and work closely with the production team to meet daily schedules.

Qualifications

• Grain handling, agricultural or manufacturing experience.
• Forklift or heavy vehicle licences.
• Experience operating processing plant or bulk handling equipment.
• Fumigation or Authorised Officer accreditation.
• Knowledge of food safety or quality assurance systems.
• Training and opportunities to obtain additional licences and certifications will be provided where required.

Responsibilities

• Operating and assisting with grain cleaning, processing and packaging equipment.
• Receiving, unloading, transferring and dispatching grain and pulses.
• Loading and unloading trucks and shipping containers.
• Assisting with weighbridge operations and stock movements.
• Grain inspection, sampling and quality testing.
• Operating forklifts, trucks and other plant equipment where appropriately licensed and trained.
• Monitoring equipment performance and assisting with routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Completing production, quality assurance and traceability documentation.
• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Working collaboratively with the production team to meet daily schedules and customer requirements.

PB Seeds is a successful, family-operated agribusiness located in Kalkee, approximately 13km from Horsham in Western Victoria.

Specialising in the processing, cleaning and packaging of grains and pulses for domestic and international markets, we pride ourselves on delivering quality products while maintaining a supportive, team-oriented workplace.

We are seeking a reliable, motivated and hands-on Grain Processing Plant Operator to join our growing production team.
