Job summary

Loop Recruitment is seeking a hands-on grain operations leader for a facility just outside Horsham, Victoria. The role covers grain receival, materials handling, machinery operation and general site operations in a food manufacturing setting.

Experience with a front-end loader and a current forklift licence are highly regarded, along with a valid driver license and a strong safety mindset. The successful candidate will contribute to day-to-day operations, maintain records, and support suppliers

Qualifications

• Experience operating a front-end loader and forklift preferred.
• Current forklift licence is required.
• Valid driver's licence is required.
• Strong commitment to health and safety and food quality standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a front-end loader and other machinery used in grain receival and handling.
• Assist with grain storage, silo cleaning, fumigation and general site operations.
• Operate a forklift to move materials and products around the site.
• Conduct sampling and basic quality testing of incoming grain.
• Complete quality records and documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, growers and transport operators.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and food quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
• Be available for overtime, including occasional evenings and weekends as required.
