Job summary

Bunge, based in Melbourne, seeks a proactive Logistics Officer to join our Trade Logistics team. You will coordinate grain movements, negotiate freight, and ensure orders are executed safely, cost-effectively, and on time across domestic, export and import supply chains.

Reporting to the Manager Logistics Victoria & NSW, you will work with traders, carriers and port terminals, maintaining records and ensuring compliance while building a career in a global agribusiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, transport planning or a related field.
• Qualifications in logistics or supply chain discipline highly regarded.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills under pressure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate grain movements via road and rail for domestic, export and import customers.
• Source and negotiate freight providers for cost-effective transport.
• Monitor and manage execution of customer orders to meet contracts.
• Liaise with traders, carriers, bulk handlers and port terminals to coordinate stock movements.
• Review stock availability and allocations to support planning.
• Process freight documentation, tickets, invoices and grain movements on time.
• Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and provide admin support for logistics operations.
