Job summary

Capral Aluminium is looking for a curious and technically minded graduate to join our Smithfield aluminium extrusion manufacturing facility. You’ll start on the factory floor, learning alongside operators, technicians, tradespeople and manufacturing leaders.

You’ll gain practical exposure to aluminium extrusion processes, automated machinery, process control, equipment performance, root-cause problem solving and quality, safety and continuous improvement as you build your engineering career from

Qualifications

• Graduating in 2026 or recent degree holder in an engineering discipline.
• Willingness to learn on the factory floor and adapt to a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Capral Aluminium is looking for a curious and technically minded graduate to join our Smithfield aluminium extrusion manufacturing facility.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for recent or upcoming graduates in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical or Automation Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.

You don't need years of manufacturing experience. We're looking for someone who:

• Is curious about how machinery and manufacturing processes work
• Enjoys solving problems and finding better ways of doing things
• Is hands-on and willing to learn on the factory floor
• Is interested in automation, technology and continuous improvement
