Job summary

As a Range 1 teacher, you will teach your own classes under general direction, participate in induction programs, and contribute to school policies and co-curricular activities

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
• New entrants receive structured mentoring and induction programs.
• Capable of developing and delivering curriculum with assessment alignment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a range of teaching programs for Foundation–Year 6.
• Teach an area of the curriculum to a year level and monitor progress.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report student progress to parents and staff.
• Maintain class records and implement effective student management.
• Work with a mentor on professional development and reflection.
