• SC1 requires knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• SC2 requires capacity to implement high impact teaching and evaluate impact.
• SC3 requires ability to monitor/assess learning and use data for feedback.
• SC4 requires strong interpersonal skills and collaboration with community.
• SC5 requires reflection and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement teaching programs or courses of study.
• Teach curriculum areas to a year level and monitor progress.
• Monitor, evaluate and report student progress to students and parents.
• Maintain records of attendance and progress, and manage student behaviour.
• Work with a mentor for professional development and reflection.
