Mildura South Primary School in Mildura, Victoria seeks a Range 1 classroom teacher to develop and deliver engaging teaching programs across core subjects. You will collaborate with mentors to support student learning and participate in induction activities as a new entrant teacher.

• Knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• Capacity to respond to diverse student learning needs.
• Ability to implement high impact teaching strategies and evaluate learning growth.
• Skill in using data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, colleagues and the wider school community.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study.
• Teach an area of the curriculum or a general curriculum to a year level.
• Monitor, evaluate and report student progress in key learning areas.
• Implement strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes.
• Maintain records of class attendance and student progress and manage student behaviour.
