Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia seeks ambitious Graduate Structural Engineers to join the 24-month Graduate Program starting January 2027. The program offers a permanent full-time position, delivering a solid career foundation from day one within a defence-focused environment.

Opportunities are in Adelaide, Brisbane and Williamtown across business units including E-7A Wedgetail, MQ-28 Ghost Bat, Sustainment Operations and Joint Systems.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in engineering, computer science or information technology (or anticipated graduation before January 2027).
• Australian Citizenship required to meet Defence security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for air vehicle structures over the product lifecycle.
• Conduct technical investigations and resolve product defects.
• Disposition problem reports generated from ground and flight testing.
• Develop air vehicle modification kits through collaboration with design and maintenance teams.
• Develop engineering documentation (e.g. instructions, manuals, procedures and risk assessments) to support ongoing product operation and maintenance.
• Communicate and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in a conscientious and inclusive way.
