Qualifications

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Strong interest in structural engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• This role is for the 2027 Graduate Program (Feb 2027–Aug 2027).
• Exposure to structural analysis and design software.
• Previous internship or industry experience in consulting, construction, or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the analytical design of bridges, marine structures, rail infrastructure, buildings and other transport assets.
• Support inspections, load ratings, rehab studies and investigations.
• Prepare calculations, reports, drawings and design documentation.
• Participate in site inspections and construction support activities.
• Apply Australian standards and client requirements to project delivery.
• Contribute to innovative engineering solutions and sustainable outcomes.
• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting and stakeholder engagement.
• Build communication and stakeholder management through client interactions and workshops.
