Job summary

Cozens Regan Group on the Gold Coast (Nerang) seeks a Structural Engineer to join our full-time team, contributing to the design and documentation across educational, commercial and residential sectors.

You will work with a drafting team, participate in site inspections and client liaison, with mentoring from senior engineers and opportunities for career development. An Australian-recognised degree and 1–3 years' experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 1–3 years of Australian structural engineering experience.
• Experience with Inducta, SpaceGass and AutoCAD preferred.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC.
• Able to work in a team or independently.
• Strong time management and deadline discipline.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

The Role

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be involved in the structural design and documentation of a varied range of projects across the following sectors:

Educational

Commercial

Residential

Duties will include structural analysis and design, preparation of calculations and drawings in conjunction with our drafting team, site inspections, reports and liaison with clients, builders and consultants.

About You

• An Australian recongnised degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 1-3 years of Australian structural engineering experience (preferred)
• Experience with Inducta, SpaceGass and AutoCAD (preferable)
• A working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and the NCC
• The ability to work both within a team and independently
• Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines
• A proactive, reliable and confident approach to your work
• Good written and verbal communication skills
