Job summary

APM Group’s Early Start Australia Graduate program at the Coomera clinic provides structured induction with clinical skills training and a dedicated buddy. You will learn through clinician shadowing, weekly supervision, and a ramp-up to managing your own caseload, supported by a multidisciplinary team.

This 12-month program fosters confidence and growth while delivering early intervention speech pathology for children and families.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Speech Pathology
• SPA registration or membership
• Current Driver’s License and vehicle
• Working with Children Check or Working with Vulnerable People registration
• NDIS workers screening check & Police Check
• Accredited first aid & CPR certificate
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Exceptional observational and report writing skills

About the Graduate program

Our 12-month graduate program is designed to help you progress from student to thriving therapist. You can expect:

• Structured induction with clinical skills training and a dedicated buddy.

What you’ll do at our Coomera clinic:

• Deliver early intervention speech pathology services to children and families, supporting communication, participation, and independence.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments (formal and informal) to identify speech, language, and developmental needs.
• Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based therapy plans aligned with family goals and child needs.
• Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams using a key worker/transdisciplinary approach.
• Monitor, review, and adapt therapy programs based on client progress and feedback.
• Provide education, resources, and ongoing support to empower families in decision-making and home-based practice.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and NDIS-related records within required timeframes.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders (e.g., schools, health professionals, support coordinators) to support client outcomes.
