Job summary

Beechworth Health Service is offering a 12-month graduate nursing program in Beechworth with clinical rotations across Acute-Sub Acute, Residential Aged Care, and District Nursing. This fixed-term pathway supports new graduates to build confidence while delivering compassionate patient care in a supportive setting.

The program provides professional development opportunities, a focus on quality and safety, and a commitment to an inclusive workforce aligned with child safety and elder care

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing qualification.
• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrated well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Quality and Risk Management.
• Knowledge of legislation and accreditation: National Standards, Aged Care Standards, NDIS.

Responsibilities

• Graduate nursing program runs for 12 months with clinical rotations.
• Rotations include Acute-Sub Acute, Residential Aged Care, and District Nursing.

Key Selection Criteria:

• Bachelor of Nursing qualification
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Demonstrated well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• A knowledge of, and commitment to, Quality and Risk Management.
• Possess knowledge of relevant legislation, accreditation requirements for National Standards, Aged Care Standards and NDIS.
