Job summary

Smiths Detection is seeking a Graduate Project Engineer to support project delivery from conception to completion. You will work with experienced professionals to develop practical project management skills and build a foundation for a long-term engineering career.

You will assist in tenders, schedules, and procurement, traveling to sites as required while gaining exposure to real-world engineering projects within a global leader in security solutions.

Qualifications

• Graduate ready to support project delivery, tendering, procurement and engineering operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with exposure to PM principles and project execution.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tender preparation, bids, compliance matrices, and vendor quotes.
• Support development of Project Execution Plans, schedules, and deliverables.
• Contribute to full project lifecycle from initiation to closeout.
• Monitor progress, prepare status reports and documentation.
• Coordinate procurement activities and logistics.
