Standards Australia is offering a Graduate Program 2027 in Development & Growth based in Sydney. The program features 12-month rotations across core business functions, starting in either Commercial or Strategic Initiatives and International, with a path to a permanent role in Development & Growth.

You’ll gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to national and international projects, helping shape Australia’s future through standards development.

About our Graduate Program

Our Graduate Program provides hands‑on experience through rotations across our core business functions.

You’ll start in our Development & Growth department, with a focus in either our Commercial team or our Strategic Initiatives and International team. You’ll then rotate through core business departments over the course of a 12 month rotation. Along the way, you’ll discover your strengths, broaden your skill set, and gain valuable insight into how standards contribute to keeping every Australian safe.

At the end of the program, you’ll return to the Development & Growth department in a permanent role!

What you’ll do

• Support delivery of strategic and international projects aligned with national goals

• Coordinate stakeholder engagement across industry, government, and international bodies

Eligible applicants must be Australian / New Zealand Citizens or Australian Permanent Residents. This role is based in our office in Sydney.
