Job summary

Moores invites applications from final-year Law students for its 12-month Graduate Program, starting March 2027. You will rotate across practice groups, gain broad exposure, and build a solid foundation for your legal career with PLT funded by Moores.

You will be supported by SLT Supervisor, a buddy per rotation, and a mentor, with structured development, client exposure, and a collaborative, inclusive culture that encourages growth. Hybrid work is available.

About the Program at Moores

Our Graduate Program is a 12-month supervised legal traineeship designed to help you transition from student to lawyer with confidence.

You will complete rotations across practice groups, providing broad exposure to different areas of law and helping you build a strong foundation for your legal career. Rotations may include:

Property, Construction, Commercial Disputes, Wills and Estates, Family, Workplace Relations and Corporate Advisory.

Throughout the program, you will be supported by:

• A dedicated SLT Supervisor to guide your legal development, provide regular feedback and help you build the skills and experience required for admission.
• A buddy each rotation to help you find your feet and navigate the day-to-day aspects of graduate life.
• A mentor who will act as a trusted sounding board, sharing their experiences, offering career guidance and helping you build connections across the firm.
• Regular coaching, feedback and development discussions.
• Structured learning and professional development opportunities.

You will work directly with clients and colleagues on meaningful legal matters while developing your technical, commercial and interpersonal skills.

As part of the program, Moores will fund your Practical Legal Training (PLT) through an approved provider, allowing you to combine formal learning with real-world experience.

To be eligible, you will be:

• In your final year of a Law degree and due to complete your studies in 2026; or
• A recent law graduate who has not yet commenced or completed PLT/ Supervised legal training or been admitted to practice.
